On a weekend in November 2023, Brooklyn Justice Initiative ran a collaborative Hip Hop Therapy (HHT)/Therapeutic Beat Making (TBM) intensive weekend workshop with Today's Future Sound Director/Licnsed clinical Psychologist Dr. Elliot Gann aka @phillipdrummond and Hip Hop Therapy Collective head and Licensed Clinical Social Worker @FienyxNY aka J.C. Hall for participants to get hours for mandated alternative sentencing. Both mental health clinicians and artists, they were joined by additional Hip Hop artists/beat makers from Brooklyn and California, including Cryptic One (Atoms Fam), ML3, DrMistaLow, Fifth P, and Science.

The participants got to make an original beat tape/album, on which they made the beats and wrote and recorded the raps with the help of the artists which you can stream here:
